Images from the Boatyard

I travel to New England harbors and boatyards in search of “experienced” boats. From a distance, I see old boats in need of repair, but when I look closer, I see landscapes and beautiful abstract art. These photographs look like paintings because I photograph the details in layers of peeling paint, wood and metal on boats aged by time the sea.
